Hard to be away

Today was our first real day of French school, and as in many conversational language classes, we sat with the teacher and talked about our friends and families back home.  It was nice to be able to communicate with someone here about the important people in our lives.  After dinner, we read of the sad news from home, and for many reasons today, we are wishing we could be there with you.
